Meet Yvette Prieto, the current girlfriend of NBA legend Michael Jordan. Yvette is a 30 year old, Cuba-born, Miami-raised model working at her father’s company. Prieto is a very famous fashion model in her country. She started out doing some small-time commercials before hitting on to the bikini calendars and other beach photo shoots.
Before dating Jordan, Yvette was romantically involved with Julio Iglesias Jr, the son of famed Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, in 2001. Before dating Yvette, Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy for seventeen years before their divorce was finalized in 2006.
Their relationship was first reported last summer in March 2008 when they were seen having dinner together at Michael’s Genuine Food and Drink. According to several reports,they are planning on getting married.
Recently, Yvette and Michael bought a house in sub-urban Miami for $281,000. Jordan and Prieto took out a $196,000, 30-year mortgage on the house, according to public records. Built in 1996, the couple’s new house has three bedrooms and two baths (according to public records) and sits on a 0.13-acre (5,560-square-foot) lot, according to public records. According to public records, the house measures around 2,517 square feet.

Prior to dating Yvette and while married to ex-wife Juanita, there were previous rumors of Jordan having affairs with Lisa Micelli and Karla Knafel.
According to several reports, Karla began her affair with Michael Jordan in December 1989. She was a singer in a band that performed in a hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. NBA referee Eddie Rush told Karla that he knew Michael Jordan and that he was in town to play the Indiana Pacers. Rush called Jordan and Karla and Michael talked on the phone. Knafel became pregnant during the affair and she claims that Jordan “demanded that she abort the baby”. She refused.

Fast forward all the way to 2002, Knafel filed a $5 million lawsuit against Jordan saying that he promised to pay her in hush money about the affair. Knafel also filed a paternity test.Knafel and Jordan fought it out in court. In December 2002, Jordan won the court decision because he claimed that Knafel was trying to extort money from him and DNA test results proved Jordan was not the father.

His former wife Juanita is the baller here! She made out HUGE because she was his WIFE when Mike was in his prime (in all areas), and all eyes were on her. Resources reported she banked 168 MILLION from the divorce (way more than Strahan’s former wife), so who’s the baller! What some of you failed to realize is that mj didn’t stop earning money after the divorce. In fact he is now worth $550m. Juanita was stupid for letting that divorce happened. A white woman would have said “no we are going to counseling”. Now this girl is going to marry mj and have kids with him. She and her feature kids are going to inherit all that money one day.
Juanita has done wonderful for herself - her financial future is secure, she has something to pass down to her children, and she has a gorgeous boyfriend -

MJ and his ex wife never looked good together. She always looked like his older sister and you could tell they were miserable. Good move!
Mike got married in the first place because Juanita got was pregnant. They had actually broken up BECAUSE Mike felt like she was after him for his money. She later informed him she was pg. There was a lot of pressure on him from family and business interests to “do the right thing” and so he married her. I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.
Sorry, but mike is a fool to marry anyone again. Yvette is not all that and mike isn’t either. He may have the money, but he will get messed up because he has had jungle fever all the time. It seems Roscoe had hit the nail on the head. To add further (to what I’ve heard) Juanita was like a groupie herself. She had slept with a couple of player, I won’t name, but hit the Jackpot by getting pregnant by Michael. Due to the pressure from business ties and family it was decided that it was in his best interest to marry her. She had already had the son and was living in a condo in downtown Chicago. He had so much influence over the media that they would not print negative reports about him because he threaten to cut them off if they did. He was a main money maker for many media outlets in his time. Hence how could those affairs and possible children go unheard of for so many years. He was out in the public with these ladies. This is amazing!! So many women in here yelling how bad Mike is and how stupid he is, while expressing how smart his wife is. And then they put down his new girlfriend. Really? What’s the difference?
