Meet Oni Souratha, fiance of movie actor Mehki Phifer. Oni and Mehki  engaged on May 7th, 2009. Oni is of Malagasy descent. Malagasy is the national language of Madagascar. Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world located in the Indian Ocean off the southeastern coast of Africa. Oni is a movie director assistant who has worked with famous director Billie Woodruff. Her filmographies include: Beauty Shop (2005) and Honey (2003). Oni and Mehki have a son together, Mekhi Thira Phifer, who was born in Los Angeles on October 30th 2007. Mehki also has a son Omikayea(above)  with his former wife, actress Malinda Williams.

Mekhi met actress Malinda Williams in 1996 during filming of the comedy spoof High School High. The two married on February 14, 1999. They divorced amicably in 2000.

Former boxing champion Arturo Gatti was found dead while on his second honeymoon in Brazil with his 23 year-old wife, Amanda Rodrigues, and 1-year-old son. Police stated that he was found with blood on his neck and the back of his head, but there were no gunshot or stab wounds. Brazilian authorities arrested his wife Amanda for the murder of the former champ. Apparently she could not explain how it took her 10 hours not to notice he had died after he had been strangled with the strap of a purse.
