Terri J. Vaughn and Karon Riley eloped in Las Vegas, Nevada back in January 2008. The couple wore matching pink and blue tracksuits on their wedding day. On April 24, 2008, Terri welcomed her first child with husband Riley, a boy named Kal’El Joseph Riley. Terri has a son, Daylen Ali Carolina, from a previous marriage with hip hop artist Derrick Carolina from the band the “Black Experience”.

Terri J. Vaughn is best known for her role as high school secretary Lovita Alizay Jenkins-Robinson on the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show. Vaughn also portrayed first-grade teacher Jonelle Abrahams on the UPN/CW sitcom All of Us. Terri has appeared in over 25 movies.

Karon Riley has played in the NFL on numerous teams. Karon played with the Chicago Bears in 2001 and the Atlanta Falcons in 2003 and 2004. In 2005, he played in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts. On January 30, 2006, Karon signed with the Washington Redskins as an unrestricted free agent. Currently, Karon is playing with the Cleveland Gladiators.

This ignorant video was made and submitted to “Youtube” by Martellus Bennett and Michael Bennett. In case you do not know, Martellus Bennett plays for the NFL Dallas Cowboys and his big brother Michael Bennett  plays for the NFL Seattle Seahawks. For some odd reason, Martellus and Michael decided to share this ignorant video with the world on Youtube called “The Black Olympics”. In the video, Martellus and Michael, are skinning and grinning  joking about who can eat fried chicken and watermelon the fastest on video.

Someone in their professional camp, should have told these young guys not to promote something like this which only perpetuates negative stereotypes that African-Americans have been fighting for centuries.

RNC Chairman Michael Steele said that he’ll woo minorities to the GOP with “fried chicken and potato salad.” Steele made the remark after someone around him interrupted his answer  about how he will diversify the GOP by shouting, “I’ll bring the collard greens.”
