Meet Chanda Wallace, wife of NBA star Ben Wallace. The couple has 2 children together: son Bryce, and daughter Baile. Ben also has a nine-year old son, Ben Jr., from a previous relationship. Chanda and Ben married back in July 2001. The couple met through a mutual friend while attending Virginia Union University in Richmond. On their first date, they went barhopping in Schockoe Bottom, the hub for nightlife in Richmond, even though neither drinks. They entertained themselves by watching others drink and by talking. Chanda is the strength behind the NBA star. She cooks his meals and braids his hair. In the past, Chanda often traveled with her husband during the grueling basketball schedule, sacrificing a life of her own to be by his side.
