Meet Shawnee Simms, wife of former NBA star Jimmy Jackson. The couple married on July 6th, 2002, before 500 guests at the Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Buckhead, Georgia. R& B group Boyz II Men were on hand to serenade the newlyweds. The group sang during the wedding, and R&B singer/actor Tyrese Gibson performed during the reception. Shawnee was escorted down the aisle by former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson. It was Mike Tyson who gave the bride (Shawnee) away to Jimmy. Shawnee is an entertainment manager. Shawnee was Mike Tyson’s manager/adviser, who ran his career from behind the scenes for several years. In 2003, for unknown reasons, Tyson terminated his management relationship with Shawnee Simms.

Rashida Jones, the daughter of music mogul Quincy Jones, was seen stepping out with her new man, President Obama’s speechwriter, Jon Favreau. The new couple was spotted in the lobby of the Charleston, Jon’s swanky apartment building in Arlington, Virginia. Rashida, 33, and Jon, 28, have been dating for at least several months. Jon attended the College of the Holy Cross, graduating as valedictorian. Rashida earned degrees in religion and philosophy at Harvard University.
