Meet Minka Kelly, girlfriend/fiance of MLB star Derek Jeter. Minka and Derek started dating last year in 2008. In August 2009, it was reported that Minka and Derek secretly got engaged, but she has denied this rumor.

Minka Kelly was born on June 24, 1980 in Los Angeles, California, but was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the daughter of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay.

Minka is an actress who currently stars in the NBC series Friday Night Lights as head cheerleader Lyla Garrity. Also, Kelly has had a successful career in modeling and television commercials.

Prior to dating Derek Jeter, Minka dated actor Donald Faison in 2005 and actor Chris Evans as well. She also dated musician John Mayer from September 2007 to January 2008.
