Meet Imani Tillery, wife of NBA star Jameer Nelson. Imani and Jameer met in high school. When speaking on how they met, Imani tells Sportsality.com that Jameer noticed her first. She says, “He’ll tell you that I noticed him first, but I think he noticed me.” Jameer says that a mutual friend played hooked them up. Jameer adds, “A friend told me that she liked me and told her that I liked her.”

On July 5, 2008, the couple married at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. The couple had approximately 185 friends and family members attend the wedding. The wedding was  full of NBA star power. Among those attending: Dwight Howard,Patrick Ewing, Bo Outlaw, Magic coach Stan Van Gundy and Magic GM Otis Smith.

Imani and Jameer have three children.

Jameer Nelson currently plays for the NBA Orlando Magic. He was selected 20th in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets, and was subsequently traded to the Orlando Magic for a 2005 first-round draft pick.
