And @ Renee – I grew up poor, living in the hood (as well as a homeless shelter for 6 months), and I’m WHITE!! Black women are just as likely as White women to leave of man when the money runs dry. Just like White women are just as likely as Black women to stand by their man when life throws some obstacles in their way.

It’s a damn shame that people still have the mindsets that you women have.

It’s pure jealousy and insecurity! The media period, is all about power and control. The media can influence and condition a person’s mind just by the way they word a sentence. That’s why we should be very careful before repeating or believing what we see and what we read. For example: the media has tried to make it look like 2 non-Black women,JLo and Kim K are the only 2 women with curvasous hips, although Black women have been shaped like that since the beginning of time. The media has never wanted the world to see Black couples happy. It’s a major form of racism without using the word Nigger. Remember, the media consists of White people from all walks of life that went to college and majored in journalism and photography and became editors etc. etc. Look at how many times the media and the powers behind it gave Ron Goldman’s father a platform to call OJ Simpson a monster BEFORE the trial even took place! Also, the media made sure not to mention OJ’s 3rd child with his 1st wife Marguerite that died, during the time period he was messing around with Nicole Brown.

Now, with all these Black actors and athletes making all this money, they definitely don’t want to see let alone show a Black man sharing his wealth with a Black woman and especially with children. However they can’t wait to put some unheard of athlete like Hank Basket or Baskerville, or whatever, and his unheard of White wife together on some TV talkshow like they did above. The media has been writing that Charles Barkley was married. However, he just got married to that White woman he has a daughter with. Did you notice how they are always showing Tom Hanks with his wife whenever he’s interviewed yet they rarely show Denzel with Paulette, Magic with Cookie, Samuel Jackson with his wife yet all of them have been together for over 25 years.
