“ Tiger Woods’ wife boasted to friends at the French ski resort of Chamonix, where she’s vacationing, that the superstar golfer gave her $300-million for Christmas.”
“The British tabloid News of the World reported yesterday that, when her friends asked her what Woods gave her, Elin Nordegren said: “$300-million, thank you very much!”
The fortune is reportedly a settlement to which Woods agreed to make his life “easier”.
Nordegren has piled on the punishment by refusing to allow Woods to see his children on Christmas Day, forcing him and his mother to post their Christmas presents.
The newspaper reported that, since the news of his affairs with up to 18 women broke in November, Woods has distanced himself from his closest aides, refused to speak about business and plans to quit golf until 2012.
Nordegren is hell-bent on divorce.
“She’s 100% determined to split with Tiger. When she boasted of the ‘$300-million Christmas gift’… and then laughed… it was clear to everyone around her that she’s more focused than ever about moving on with her life,” the paper quoted a source as saying. “Tiger has agreed to settle for an easy life.”
