Rapper MC Lyte took over the Coca-Cola stage on Day 1 of the 2010 Essence Music Festival at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, performing a variety of her biggest songs for the crowd. Among the songs she performed were Poor Georgie, Keep On Keepin On, Cold Rock A Party, and her verse on Brandy’s I Wanna Be Down Remix.
