Cleveland sports fans reacted wildly after a man wearing a Lebron James Miami Heat jersey showed up at the Indians game.
Wednesday night, Matt Bellamy and his girlfriend went to the Indians-Yankees game at Progressive Field.
The couple sat in the left-field bleachers. By the time the sixth inning rolled around, hundreds of fans shifted their focus from the game to the jersey.
Bellamy said, “Fans were screaming profanity, throwing beer on me. They put on the big screen. As soon as I walked up the whole stadium booed me.”
A short time later, security approached Matt and his girlfriend. Citing safety concerns, the couple had to be escorted from the stadium.
