During the UCLA vs. Richmond college basketball game last week, a fan sitting in the audience decided to propose to girlfriend while being featured on the arena’s jumbo tron.

The man reached into his pocket, pulled out a ring and said: “I knew that I was going to do this since the first day that I met you, and I figured now was as good a time as any.”

At that moment, the man kneeled down on one knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him. Unfortunately, the man’s girlfriend said “no” and ran out of the arena with the entire crowd witnessing the awkward moment live on the jumbo tron.
