Since filing for divorce and now trying to reconcile her marriage to her NBA husband Kobe Bryant, Vanessa Bryant has been spotted out at a few red carpets events and even talking to the media.
As you know, Vanessa has never been known to make statements to the media, but according to Nicki Jhabvala of Sports on Earth, she recently had this say about being married to professional athlete during an interview with New York Magazine.
Vanessa said:
“I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can’t win championships,” she said.
“If you’re sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year.”
Hopefully, Vanessa and Kobe can work out their marriage. We are definitely rooting for them.
