Top 100 college basketball recruit in the country, Tony Farmer, will spend the next three years of his life in prison after being convicted of kidnapping and beating up his ex-girlfriend Andrea Lane.
According to reports and live surveillance footage of the altercation, Farmer confronted, kicked, punched and dragged Lane by her hair in the parking lot of an apartment back in April 2012. Farmer also sent threatening text messages to Lane.
After a Cuyahoga County judge read his sentence, Farmer collapsed and began crying.

The judge will review Farmer’s sentence in 180 days.
Farmer was being recruited by national powerhouses such as Michigan State, Ohio State, Iowa, and Michigan.
