Yesterday, Miami Dolphins star running back Reggie Bush and his pregnant girlfriend Lilit Avagyan were on hand to help host the “Fins and Kids” Publix Shopping Spree in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The couple along with 20 current Miami Dolphins players, alumni, members of the Dolphins Women’s Organization and cheerleaders gave 100 underprivileged children from several Miami public schools a $100 gift certificate to shop for a Thanksgiving dinner for their loved ones.

They shopped with the children and helped them select the items for their Thanksgiving dinners.

“Publix and the Miami Dolphins have shared a long history of giving back to our local communities, especially to programs that benefit kids,” said Kim Reynolds, Publix Miami media and community relations manager. “To see the joy on the kid’s faces as they got to shop for Thanksgiving dinner with their favorite hometown heroes this evening was priceless.”
