R&B singer and NBA wifey Keyshia Cole-Gibson took to her Twitter account recently to respond to the backlash she received over recent comments she made about her being bi-racial.
Just to bring you up to speed…Keyshia made an appearance on BET’s “106 & Park” last week and host Bow Wow asked her about her recent “Black Girls Rock” appearance and how she felt about being a black girl who rocks.
Keyshia replied:
“I’m Bi-racial but it’s ok…I’m Black, I’m Black.. At first I was skeptical about being a part of the Black Girls Rock organization but then when I read on it and I realized how strengthening it is for our black women and women in general – how strengthening it is for us to come together and understand that no matter what, we rock.“
