Earlier today, Pamela Smith, an Atlanta mother who claims Michael Jordan fathered her now 16-year-old son, appeared in a Fulton County courtroom for a paternity hearing against the NBA legend.
MyFoxAtlanta.com reports:
The American Airlines flight attendant said that her money is not money. She said that she is filing the suit now because her son wants to know who his biological father is.
Smith has previously told FOX 5 that she had a two-year relationship with Jordan after the two met in Chicago. She insists that her son was conceived out of love with Jordan and not the result of a brief encounter.
Smith’s lawsuit requests that Jordan take a paternity test and pay child support and partial medical expenses.
Jordan has asked the judge to dismiss the lawsuit. He claims he is not the father of Smith’s 16-year-old son.
