Meet Linda Reese Mathis, wife of Television Judge Greg Mathis. Judge Mathis met Linda, a fellow Eastern Michigan University student, shortly after his mother’s passing. The couple married in 1985. They would go on to have four children together. They have two daughters and two sons.

Meet Gabrielle Bullock, wife of actor Rocky Carrol. Rocky married Gabrielle back on May 25th, 1996. The couple has one daughter.

Gabrielle Bullock is Managing Principal Director for the Perkins + Will Los Angeles office. Perkins + Will is a national and international architecture firm of 750 employees and 14 offices.  She previously served as the Co-Director of Operations for the L.A. practice under her predecessor.

Bullock has been with Perkins+Will for more than 16 years, including time spent in both the New York and California practices. In her 20 years in architecture, she has focused on project management and the planning of large, complex projects. As Project Manager for the UCLA Westwood Replacement Hospital, she oversees a $400 million project undertaken after the existing facility suffered extensive damage in the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. She was also Project Manager on the USC Zilhka Neurogenetic Institute.

She holds a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation, established by U.S. Green Building Council, for architects who have advanced knowledge and understanding of environmentally-friendly design. Bullock is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, with bachelor’s degrees in architecture and art.

Rocky Carrol is a famous actor known for portraying ne’er-do-well musician Joey Emerson on the FOX comedy-drama Roc. He also had a starring role as Dr. Keith Wilkes in the TV series Chicago Hope. Carroll has guest starred in several other TV programs including The Agency, Boston Legal, Family Law, The West Wing, Law & Order, and The Game. Carroll has had roles in many Hollywood films such as Born on the Fourth of July, The Ladies Man, Crimson Tide, The Great White Hype, A Prelude to a Kiss, The Chase, Best Laid Plans, Yes Man and others. Carroll played the father of a sickle-cell stricken child on ER in the episode “The Student.”

In 2008, he joined the regular cast of the CBS drama NCIS as Director Leon Vance. In so doing, he has been reunited with his Chicago Hope castmates Mark Harmon and Lauren Holly.

In 2009, he will join the NCIS: Los Angeles cast and reprise his role from NCIS as Director Leon Vance.

Rapper/Actor Ludacris has been seen dating a new girlfriend named Fab during the 2010 new year. We do not know much about his new boo, but we will keep our eyes open on this new couple.

Meet Pam Byse, wife of Actor Morris Chestnut. The couple married back in 1995. Chestnut said he preferred to keep his private life personal, so we do not have any info on how they met. Pam and Morris have two children, a son Grant, and daughter Paige (above).

Morris Chestnut has appeared in over 29 movies and tv episodes. He is perhaps best known for his roles as teenage father Ricky Baker in the 1991 film Boyz N the Hood, groom-to-be Lance Sullivan in the 1999 film The Best Man and as Tracy Reynolds, NBA star in the 2002 film Like Mike.

Meet Linda Kingsberg-Hudson, wife of actor Ernie Hudson. Ernie met his wife, Linda Kingsberg, a former flight attendant, when he was starring in a Minneapolis production of The Great White Hope. Ernie said he was reluctant to marry Linda, partly because Linda is white and he was nervous about their prospects as an interracial couple. Ernie says, “I knew there would be problems,” and he was right. Realtors in the area where they bought their home in the 1980’s were reluctant to show them properties. “And people told us not to have children, because the children would be confused,” says Linda.

Disregarding such advice, Ernie and Linda married in 1985. The couple has two children together, sons Andrew and Ross. Also, Ernie has two sons from his first marriage; Ernest Jr. and and Rocky.

Ernest Hudson has starred in over 80 movies. He is well known for his roles as Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters film series, Warden Leo Glynn on HBO’s Oz and Sergeant Albrecht in the cult movie The Crow.

Meet Jennifer Lucas, wife of comedian and tv host Byron Allen. The couple met in April 2001 at a restaurant in Los Angeles and were engaged in December 2006 in Maui. They married on September 1, 2007 at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles in front of 120 guests, including Natalie Cole and Eddie Murphy.

Byron says, “After this long, I know she’s the one.” “She’s my best friend, and I couldn’t wait to see her walk down the aisle.”

Jennifer and Byron have one daughter, Chloe Ava, and are currently expecting another child. Their daughter Chloe Ava was born on August 22, 2008. She weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz.

Jennifer Lucas is a writer television producer. She has produced tv shows,”ES.TV HD” (2009),” Comics Unleashed”,” Designers Fashions & Runways” (2004).

Byron Allen is the host of talk shows Entertainers with Byron Allen  and Comics Unleashed.

Meet Aviss Pinkney Bell, wife of actor Cob Bell. The couple has four children; two sets of twins: girls (Serrae and Jaena) and a girl and a boy (Quinn and Eli, respectively).

“The Game” actor Coby Bell and his wife Aviss recently welcomed their second set of twins, Quinn and Eli. The twins were born on December 2nd 2008. Their first set of twins, Jaena and Serrae,  are now five years old.

Coby told Life & Style Magazine that the couple was trying for one baby, a boy, and were shocked to get a boy and a girl. Coby is thrilled that he finally got his son stating that he was very out numbered in the house. “There’s so much female energy, it’ll be a good balance,” he joked. “Even our dog is a female!”

The family lives with the two sets of twins in Long Beach, California.

Coby’s wife Aviss is owner of the “Look What I Made” arts-and-crafts play space for kids. “Look What I Made!” is a drop-in arts and crafts play space for children. Guests pay a fee for up to three hours of time. During that time they can participate in up to five art activities or play in the play area. Guests take home all works of art. Parents can sit and enjoy complimentary coffee and tea. First timers pay about $13 and repeat sessions are $15.

Coby Bell is actor and producer. He is best known for his roles as NYPD officer Tyrone Davis, Jr. on the NBC drama Third Watch, and professional football player Jason Pitts on the CW comedy-drama The Game.

Meet Marjorie Bridges Harvey, third wife of comedian/actor Steve Harvey. The pair met 17 years ago and dated briefly. Steve first saw Marjorie at a comedy club appearance in Memphis, where he declared that she would be his wife. However, Steve and Marjorie went on to build separate relationships and families. After both experiencing unsuccessful marriages, Marjorie and Steve decided to rekindle their relationship. Steve says, “You’re looking at two people who were messing up for real and making bad decisions without conferring with God.” “But the fact that you can mess up that many times and still come out okay is a testament to just the grace and mercy of God, man.”

The couple married on June 25, 2007, in Maui.

Marjorie and Steve do not have any children together. Marjorie has three children from her previous marriages. Just like her husband Steve, Marjorie has also been married twice.

Steve has twin daughters, Karli and Brandi (born 1982) and a son, Broderick Jr. (born 1991), from his first marriage. He has a son, Wynton (born 1997), with ex-wife Mary Lee Harvey. Steve and Mary divorced after 17 years together and a 10-year marriage.

Meet Model Machiko Harris, girlfriend of actor Rockmond Dunbar.The couple started dating sometime in 2006, after Rockmond divorced his ex-wife of 3 years model Ivy Holmes. When speaking on the divorce from his ex-wife, Dunbar says, “I deserve a partner who’s going to be my partner 100 percent of the time.”

When speaking of Machiko, a rep for Dunbar admitted the couple is going strong. “They are very serious,” said Lisa Sorenson. Dunbar does not have any children from either relationship.

Meet Rebecca King Crews, wife of former NFL player turned actor Terry Crews. Rebecca met Terry in college at Western Michigan. While Rebecca was serving as the music director of  her local church, Terry walked into service one Wednesday night, and the rest was history. The couple married On July 29, 1989, one day before Terry’s 21st birthday. Rebecca and Terry have four daughters: Azriel, Naomi, Tera, and Wynfrey. In June 2005, their fifth child and first son was born.

Rebecca  is a woman of God. She is both an actor and musician as well as an aspiring author and minister.

Rebecca  was born to an interracial couple in Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1965. She was raised in Gary Indiana, where she attended various schools and graduated from Lew Wallace High School with honors. She was crowned Miss Gary 1984 as a Senior in High School and went on to study Musical Theatre at Western Michigan University. Throughout high school and college, Rebecca appeared in various musical theatre productions. “The Wiz”, “Oklahoma”, “Pippin”, “The Music Man”, “Evita” and others, and finally starred as ‘Deena’ in a regional production of “Dreamgirls”. She also sang, wrote, played piano, and performed with her own Gospel group “The Chosen Ones”.

Terry Crews was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams of the NFL in the 11th round of the 1991 NFL Draft. Crews played 6 years in the NFL. He played wirh the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles. After retiring in 1998, Crews pursued an acting career. Terry has appeared in over 35 films and tv shows.

Terry’s career has made a way for Rebecca to stay home and raise their children and to eventually pursue her own acting and music career, as well as her own ministry. They have been married for 20 years this summer. Terry and Rebecca’s children are also aspiring actors and singers.

Meet Sophia Adella Hernandez, wife of actor Derek Luke. Derek says,” I met my wife when I came out to Los Angeles, before my acting career started. And she always made me feel like a star”. Derek adds, “We met each other at a workshop about finding our purpose. We met at the right time, and it was a silent voice that spoke to us and just went boom!” Sophia and Derek married in 1998.

It was announced that Derek and wife Sophia were expecting their first child in March of 2007. At this time, no official baby photos have been released.

Sophia Adella Hernandez is a singer and actress. Sophia has starred in: Down for Life (2009), Spartan (2004), 40 (2002), “V.I.P.”(1 episode, 2002), Saving Private Irons (2002) TV episode, Knockout (2000), Lying in Wait (2000).

Derek Luke is well known for his big-screen debut performance in the 2002 film Antwone Fisher, directed and produced by Denzel Washington.

Meet Linda Hall, wife of actor Marion “Pooch” Hall. Linda met Marion at UMass Dartmouth and quickly became pregnant with their first daughter. They married following graduation. Linda and Marion have three children, daughters, Djanai and Djaeda and son Djordan.

Linda Hall, a 1997 Psychology graduate, is now a successful real estate agent working in Los Angeles, California.

Currently, Pooch Hall plays the character of “Derwin Davis” on CW’s popular show “The Game”.

Meet Felicia Forbes, wife of actor Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister aka Debo. The two met in South Africa while Lister was working on the action movie “Blast”, which starred popular actor-comedian Eddie Griffin.

The couple married in Cape Town, South Africa back in 2003. The wedding took place at the home of noted South Africa construction developer Faik Haroun and his wife, Malie.  Famed actor Samuel L. Jackson was among the celebrity guests. Lister and Samuel are members of West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles.

Felicia, a missionary and minister, is from Cape Town, South Africa. The couple has one daughter together. Currently, the couple ministers across the country, reaching out to troubled youth, churches and schools.

In 1983,  Denzel Washington married Pauletta Pearson (now Pauletta Washington), whom he met on the set of the 1977  made-for-television movie “Wilma”. In 1995, the couple renewed their wedding vows in South Africa with Archbishop Desmond Tutu officiating.

Pauletta Pearson Washington (born September 28, 1951) is an actress. In 1970, she was the first black contestant in the Miss North Carolina Pageant, a preliminary to Miss America. She was the 2nd runner-up.

The couple have four children: John David (born July 28, 1984), who signed a football contract with the St. Louis Rams in May 2006 after playing college football at Morehouse; Katia (born November 1987), who is attending Yale University, and twins Olivia and Malcolm (named in honor of Malcolm X -born April 10, 1991).

Angela Bassett and Courtney Vance met in the 1980’s while they were post graduate college students at the prestigious Yale School of Drama in Connecticut. The couple met many years before they first went out together in 1996. A year later, the couple got engaged. In 1997, the couple married in a quiet ceremony held at a private residence in Los Angeles. Their wedding was attended by 225 friends and family members. Ms. Bassett wore a silk fitted gown with a 4-foot French lace.

The couple’s children, son Slater Josiah and daughter Bronwyn Golden, were born on January 27, 2006. During an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the couple confirmed that the twins were born via a surrogate mother after several years of unsuccessful attempts at conceiving naturally.

Bassett attended Yale University and received her B.A. in African-American studies in 1980. In 1983, she earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Yale School of Drama. After graduation, Bassett worked as a receptionist for a beauty salon and as a photo researcher. Bassett soon looked for acting work in the New York theater. One of her first New York performances came in 1985 when she appeared in J. E. Franklin’s Black Girl at Second Stage Theatre.

Courtney Vance graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor of arts degree. While attending Harvard, Vance was already working as an actor at the Boston Shakespeare Company. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at Yale School of Drama in 1986.

Meet Kimberly Woodruff, wife of rapper turned actor Ice Cube. Kim and Ice Cube married back in 1992. The couple has four children, one daughter and three sons.

Ice Cube’s real name is O’Shea Jackson. He was (born  on June 15, 1969. Ice cube began his career as a member of the controversial rap group N.W.A along with group leader Eazy-E. He later launched a successful solo career in music and cinema.  Ice Cude still remains one of the most visible West Coast rappers, having helped originate gangsta rap.

Meet Idina Menzel, wife of actor Taye Diggs. Diggs married his Rent and Wild Party Broadway co-star Idina Menzel on January 11, 2003 after 7 years of dating. The couple also starred in the Broadway musical Wicked together.

On September 2nd, 2009, the couple welcomed a baby boy named Walker Nathaniel Diggs.

Idina Menzel is a Tony Award-winning actress, singer and songwriter. She is widely known for originating the roles of Maureen in Rent and the green-skinned Elphaba in Wicked. Idina Menzel was born on May 30th, 1971 in Long Island, New York, of Jewish heritage. She earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Drama at NYU.

Jennifer Hudson and fiance David Otunga were spotted publicly for the first time since the birth of their son. In August 2009, Hudson gave birth to her first child with Otunga; a boy named David Daniel Otunga Jr.

Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga met through a mutual friend. Six months later on Hudson’s 27th birthday, he proposed marriage. The  surprising marriage news was met with apprehension by her family. Otunga accompanied Hudson throughout Spring and Autumn 2008 on various promotional events for her debut album.

David (who appeared as “Punk” from I Love New York 2), is a Harvard Law graduate.  In November 2008, he started training to become a professional wrestler and is currently wrestling for Florida Championship Wrestling, which is a developmental  league for the WWE, under the name Dawson Alexander.

Prior to dating David, Jennifer was dating her long time boyfriend James Payton. Hudson began dating James Payton in 1999, when she was eighteen. They were both from Chicago. The couple separated in December 2007.

Meet April Roomet, ex-girlfriend and child’s mother of model/actor Tyson Beckford. April met Beckford when she was working as a waitress in a famous soul food restaurant called “Georgia” in Los Angeles. April says, ” He came into the restaurant and he asked the owner about me. He gave me his number. I accidentally threw the number away and went back looking for it in the trash can. The rest is history”. After meeting in the restaurant, the pair began a torrid romance.

April credits Tyson for standing by her when she discovered she was pregnant with his son, and admits neither of them wanted to get married.  April says,“We were on and off for years after Jordan was born. Being on different coasts and so busy with our careers, the timing wasn’t right… Maybe later, down the line, we’ll get it together and figure it out. “Tyson’s been very supportive of my career. We’re still friends and good parents, which is most important.” Their son, Jordan, is 10 years old.

April is a professional celebrity stylist who has hustled her way to the top during her ten years in the industry, styling for more than 100 music videos for such big names as Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Bow-Wow.

Currently, April has become a hit on E!’s video vixen reality show, “Candy Girls”. As the self-proclaimed “token white girl” on “Candy Girls,” April is Vixen Danielle’s eyes and ears when Danielle can’t be around.

One an episode of the show, Tyson made a guest appearance which featured April, Tyson and their son, Jordan.

Meet Bridgid Coulter, long time girlfriend of actor Don Cheadle. Eventhough the couple has never tied the knot, Don often calls Bridgid Coulter his wife. Don says,”When you are with someone for 14 years, what’s the difference?”.”I have nothing against marriage — it’s just another production that we haven’t gone into yet.” Bridgid and Cheadle have two daughters: Ayana Tai (born 1995) and Imani (born 1997).

Bridgid Coulter, (born August 2, 1968) is an African American and Caucasian actress whose worked in both film and television. She grew up in Berkeley, California. Coulter appeared in popular television programs such as: A Different World, Family Matters, Class of ‘96 and Murder, She Wrote, and Martin. Coulter also appeared with her longtime boyfriend Don Cheadle in the 1997 film, Rosewood and has two children with him. She also appeared alongside Laurence Fishburne in the TV film Always Outnumbered, an adaptation of Walter Mosley’s novel Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned.

The couple currenly reside in Santa Monica, California.

Meet Tonya Lewis Lee, wife of writer/producer Spike Lee. Tonya met Spike in 1992 at a Congressional Black Caucus dinner. In a 2004 interview with Avenue Magazine, Tonya said, “We walked past each other. He circled back around and proceeded to give me the third degree. ‘Are you an actress? A model? A singer? Who are you here with? What do you do? Do you have a boyfriend?” Spike was there promoting ne of his acclaimed films, Malcolm X, which starred Denzel Washington. Tonya remembers thinking it was strange for him to be so animated given his enormous public image, but apparently, he was smitten at first sight. One year later they were married. Tonya and Spike exchanged wedding vows in October of 2003 at Riverside Church in New York City. The couple has two children together. Their daughter Satchel Lewis Lee was born in December of 1994.  She was named after legendary black baseball star Satchel Paige. Their son Jackson was born in May of 1997.

When Tonya, an attorney and concert level pianist, met Spike Lee, she was practicing corporate law at the time. Tonya has always had a passion for wanting to unleash her more creative side. At that time, marrying Spike Lee offered her both the financial freedom and the inspiration to unleash her creative side more fully. After the marriage, she gave up practicing law, and poured all of her energy into creating a prototype for a magazine on black entertainment and fashion; she also started writing.

Tonya Lewis Lee’s accomplishments:

Since 1993, Tonya Lewis Lee has become an author and award-winning tv producer. Tonya is the lead spokesperson for The Office of Minority Health’s “A Healthy Baby Begins With You” campaign. The mother of two and wife of acclaimed director Spike Lee; she has garnered national attention for her work, which includes the bestselling novel, “Gotham Diaries.” She has also served as executive producer of the 2004 Noggin/The N documentary “I Sit Where I Want: The Legacy of Brown v. Board of Education,” for which she received both Beacon and Parents’ Choice awards. A lawyer by trade, Ms. Lee practiced law at the firm of Nixon Hargrave Devans & Doyle, where she primarily serviced Gannett Co. Inc. on corporate and First Amendment issues. She transitioned from practicing law to writing and TV production. From 1998 to 2002, she produced Black History Month video shorts for Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite which featured leading entertainers such as Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Whoopi Goldberg and Queen Latifah. In 2002, she and husband Spike Lee co-authored the children’s book Please Baby Please, illustrated by Kadir Nelson. In 2005, she continued the series with Please Puppy Please. Ms. Lee also served as the executive producer for the critically-acclaimed TV mini-series “Miracle’s Boys,” aired on Noggin/The N in 2005. Outspoken on the issues of women and race, Ms. Lee has written for magazines such as Glamour, Gotham, Avenue, and O at Home and appeared on Lifetime television and “Good Morning America.” She currently serves on the boards of both the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and the Children for Children Foundation. She is also an advisory board member of The Bearden Foundation. Ms. Lee is a member of the New York Bar. Ms. Lee received her bachelor’s from Sarah Lawrence College in 1988 and her juris doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1991. Lee lives in New York City with her husband and two children, ages 12 and 14.

Comedian/Actor Tracy Morgan has filed for divorce from his wife of 23 years, according to reports. Tracy has been separated from his wife Sabina for eight years. On Friday, August 7th, 2009, Tracy filed a petition at the Bronx Supreme Court to make the divorce official. Tracy married his high school sweetheart Sabina in 1985. They have three sons together, Tracy Jr.(born 1986), Malcolm (born 1987), and Gitrid (born 1991). A source tells the New York Daily News, “Basically they were divorced without the paperwork. It seems like he has had a different girlfriend every five months or so. In the past three years, I’ve met three girlfriends.”

Meet Nikki Nakyung Park , wife of Actor Wesley Snipes. After being together for three years, Nikki and Wesley were married in a civil ceremony on March 17, 2003 in Hackensack, New Jersey at the County Court House. The couple has four children together: son Akhenaten Kihwa-T Snipes; daughter Iset Jua-T Snipes (born July 31, 2001); son Alaafia Jehu-T Snipes (born May 26, 2004); and son Alimayu Moa-T Snipes (born March 26, 2007). Wesley also has a son from a previous relationship named Jelani Asar Snipes, born in 1988. Jelani had a cameo role in Snipes’ 1990 film Mo’ Better Blues.

Nikki Nakyung Park, an artist/painter, was born on 1974 in South Korea. Wesley spends a lot of time in his wife Nakyung’s home country of South Korea, which he calls his “second home.”

Before meeting his current wife Nakyung, Wesley was married to his college sweetheart April DuBois. Wesley and April were married in 1985 and divorced in 1990. They have one child together: son Jelani Asar Snipes. In between the two marriages, Wesley has been linked to a number of women including Jada Pinkett Smith, Sanaa Lathan, Halle Berry, and Jennifer Lopez.

Meet Paloma Jimenez, girlfriend of actor Vin Diesel. Paloma and Vin welcomed their first child, daughter Hania Riley, on April 2, 2008. Paloma Jimenez, a  26 year old Mexican model, was born on August 22, 1983 in Acapulco, Mexico. Her measurements are 33-24-35 and stands 5′10″. Paloma has been represented by ID Model Management and Look Models in Mexico. She has appeared in ads for Pantene, Coca-Cola and Honda, to name a few. She has graced the covers of Mexico ‘Maxim’ in January 2005 and ‘Max” in August 2006. She strutted her stuff on the runway for Spring/Summer 2006 and 2007 Ready to Wear.

Speaking to an Irish newspaper, Diesel spoke of  how he has been seen as a hard man, but is in touch with his soft side as a proud father. Diesel, confessed his life completely changed when he and Paloma welcomed their daughter. Vin said: “It’s changed my life and everything that falls under that umbrella. Meet Sara Kapfer, wife of actor Cuba Gooding Jr. Sara and Cuba met in high school and fell in love. The two have known each other since 1986. Meet Lori Mccomas, the ex-wife of movie actor Terrence Howard. Lori and Terrence married back in 1989.  After 14 years of ups and downs, the couple divorced in 2003 and remarried again in 2005, but have since separated. Lori Mccomas was born Jewish, but is raising their children in the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith. The former couple has three children: two daughters (Aubrey and Heaven) and a son (Hunter).

In February 2009, news sources reported that Howard was arrested in 2001 for a variety of charges related to a violent attack on his estranged wife, including simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and stalking. According to police reports, he arrived at Lori’s house after an argument on the telephone, and forced entry into her home by breaking in doors. Reports said Howard chased Lori into the back yard and punched her twice in the face with a closed fist. The violent attack ended when Terrence Howard’s brother stepped in and stopped him. In 2002, Howard plead guilty only to disturbing the peace.
