Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beatz married on July 31st, 2010 at a private home by the Mediterranean Sea. The nuptials were conducted by the couple’s friend, Dr. Deepak Chopra.

Alicia wore an ivory silk, georgette-draped gown by Vera Wang and carried a bouquet of purple cala lillies, while Swizz Beatz wore a tuxedo by Tom Ford.

The ceremony was attended by Swizz’s first son Nasir Dean, U2’s Bono, Queen Latifah, and designer Tommy Hilfiger with his wife Dee Ocleppo.

Alica Keys, 29, and Swizz Beatz (real name Kasseem Dean), 31, have been together since fall 2008. The couple is expecting their first child together.

Beatz also has two other children, Kasseem Jr., 3, and Prince Nasir, 9, from previous relationships.

Singer Bobby Brown proposed to his baby mother and girlfriend of 3 years Alicia Etheridge. Brown popped the big question during the FunkFest concert in Jacksonville, Florida over the Mother’s day weekend.

Etheridge joined Brown on stage while holding their 11-month-old son Cassius, as Bobby got down on one knee and presented her with a ring. The crowd applauded and cheered as a happy Etheridge said yes and kissed Brown.

Alicia Etheridge is the mother of one of Bobby Brown’s five children.  Alicia and Bobby have been dating since 2007. Brown and Alicia welcomed their son Cassius in May 2009.

Etheridge met Brown through his ex-wife Whitney Houston. Alicia is currently acting as Bobby Brown’s “manager”.

Before Etheridge, Bobby was to Whitney Houston for 15 years.  Their marriage officially ended in 2007. They have a 17-year-old daughter together, Bobbi Kristina.

Meet Erika Riker, wife of American Idol Judge Randy Jackson. Erika,  a former ballet dancer, met Randy on the set of a music video shoot. In 1995, the couple got married. Erika and Randy have two children together, a daughter, Zoe and son, Jordan. Also, Randy has a daughter named Taylor from his first marriage with his ex-wife singer-songwriter Elizabeth Jackson.

Currently, Erika Riker is a full-time homemaker.

Meet Norma Mitchell, Tyrese Gibson’s ex-wife. Norma married Tyrese back in 2007. The couple were together for ten months before Tyrese filed for divorce in January 2009, citing irreconcilable differences. Although his estranged wife had signed a prenup, she is contesting the agreement in court.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Norma is requesting more money from Tyrese and claims that he is an absentee father who doesn’t support their daughter, Shayla Somer, born on July, 11th,2007.

According to the documents,  Tyrese met Norma in London in 2002 when she was an unemployed college student living with her mother. From the moment they met, Tyrese showered her with expensive gifts, getaways and unlimited access to his credit cards. She claims he asked her to move to the States with him a year later and she dropped out of college and left her family behind to be with him.  In 2007, he asked her to marry him after their daughter was born and required her to sign a prenuptial agreement. She agreed because if she hadn’t, she would have been forced to return home to London with her baby. They got married just three days after she signed the prenup and shortly afterward, they began to have disagreements. Tyrese would become angry and aggressive and leave her home with the baby for days and weeks at a time while he went on vacation, hung out with Brandy and who knows what else.

According to Norma, she didn’t even see the divorce coming because the two had been searching for a home together. She is unable to support herself because she doesn’t have a visa, she has no support system and she always believed he would take care of her and the family.

However, Tyrese was paying  her $5,000 a month, plus rent on a $2700 apartment and almost $800 a month for the lease on her Range Rover. However, this was not enough for Norma who claims her expenses far exceed the $5000 a month he gives her.

The court case settlement verdict:

According to Singersroom, a judge ordered Tyrese to fork over $65,000 of his $800,000 income to Norma and the judge upped his child support temporarily.
In addition to the settlement of sorts, Norma Gibson will receive $6,230 a month in support, in addition to having her rent and car note paid by the singer/actor.

Julie McKnight (married 1990-2003)

Julie McKnight was married Brian for thirteen years until they divorced.They met while students at Oakwood College, a Seventh-Day Adventist-affiliated school in Alabama.They were both expelled from the college, which led to McKnight having sufficient free time to focus on his music and launch his music career.
Brian said that he realized there were major problems in the relationship [between McKnight and Julie, his wife of 13 years]. But because both had come from very religious backgrounds,they were determined to try to make it work. The presence of two children made it more imperative to not give up on it. Brian says,”I think deep down we both knew that this would be the end result. If we hadn’t had children, it would have been much easier to say, ‘You know what, we’re just going to go our separate ways.’ We do love each other, but people grow apart.”
