Ballerwives.com would like to congratulate former NFL star Vince Young on completed his degree in Youth and Community studies this spring from the University of Texas.
Although Young hasn’t found his way back to the NFL, he still found the drive enough to return back to his alm mater and complete his remaining credits.
ESPN’s Samantha Steele Ponder (above) ran into fellow Longhorn Young while she was there to watch her brother graduate.
Over the weekend, NBA superstar LeBron James made history by winning his 4th NBA MVP award, becoming one of four players to ever win the title at least four times.
While giving his acceptance speech, LeBron graciously thanked his soon-to-be wife Savannah Brinson, her parents (his in-laws) and his mother Gloria James for their hard work, sacrifices and support.
Lebron also thanked his close friends/businesses partners, the Miami Heat coaches and owners, and last but not least his teammates.
Earlier today, ESPN announced they were extending their investigative reporting show ‘Outside The Lines’ one hour to discuss the historic coming out of the closet of NBA player Jason Collins. As a result, the ESPN network interviewed on their reporters, Chris Broussard, who weighed in on Jason Collins saying he’s gay and a christian, and his religious beliefs on homosexuality.
Here are Broussard’s comments below from his appearance on Outside the Lines, as transcribed by Ben Golliver from BlazersEdge and Sports Illustrated:
